Thee Hypnotics - Come Down Heavy

Thee Hypnotics were a UK outfit in the early 90s who played some great hard rock similar to 60s groups like Blue Cheer, Free, MC5 and The Stooges. They had a couple of great albums out before an accident during their US toured forced them to take a long break. They released an album after regrouping, on a new label, but nothing as good as their earlier releases. Come Down Heavy is a great album full of sonic guitar riffs, outstanding drum work and howling, rebellious vocals.

  1. I haven't heard of them, but if they sound anything like Blue Cheer or the MC5 then I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for the post!

I was desperately seeking for the record for a long time as I only have a very bad recording on tape which is not worth ripping.

    So, thanx again!

  3. They were on the Pspyched comp from '99...the last track from this disc was on there and it rules.
