  5. Thanks for this - the 30th anniversary edition is tough to find now for much less than £GB 50. Strange for an album that originally retailed at £GB 1.49 in the UK! Wonderful stuff.

Thanks, sab! You'll find Faust and Tony Conrad playing Outside the Dream Syndicate live in 1995, and many other rare Faust records such as Faust IV - Outtakes and Alternates and Faust V (The Unreleased Virgin Promotional Cassette, 1975) on my Faust megapost over at edo's. Cheers, Dave Sez.

    heyyy, thank you -

mediafire has gotten really f'd, link was still blocked minutes before I checked back here, there was no captcha - I tried again, MF was down according to (isitdown.com), waited & tried again & there was a captcha - wasn't there before.

anyway, can't believe I don't remember hearing this back in 70's, then again those days were kinda foggy, thanks again

  12. ok, listening to this is not really a nice kinda way to pass the time. After 10 minutes of repetition I think I've heard it,I may as well just pull the string and move on. Side of the Machine, track 2 rocks the hardest but it's fucking 26 minutes long....and there's so much competition for my fucking attention that the pushing of the next button kept getting delayed because the track really heats up. The Pyre Of Angus Was In Kathmandu is completely without narrative. It sounds like the instructions on how to play the composition. The short songs have more energy.
The last track is 31 minutes long. It starts off like a march with the beating of the drums...and continues... there's so much competition for my fucking attention....

  13. to goinsidemyhead,

no thanks, don't think inside your head is a very pleasant place to be. all I have heard you do in all the comments you left here & elsewhere (which I simply deleted because they lacked anything worthwhile, positive or negative) is a bunch of bitching & whining. If you like a particular kind of music, say what & why (something to start an actual dialogue). If you just don't like what you find here (& elsewhere) then leave. These blog are not here for your feeble wrecking ball (marble? BB? grain of sand?). Go wherever it is they stroke your obviously needy ego. bitching like a baby is not the same as commenting, so if you really have something to say, then let me know.

    If not, then FUCK OFF!!!
