Oh my god! I was so fascinated by this series when I was a kid. I've been looking for these forever. Thanks a billion!

Cottonmouth is one of the damned creepiest things I ever read and I had a teacher throw me out of her classroom for reading it in her classroom before school had started. I ended up getting transferred to another class because she didn't want me back in her room after she took the comic away from me and read it herself. AWESOME stuff here!

  6. Damn, those were good times. I remember Skulan calling me up and bitching that my "Body Snatcher" adaptation took up the whole first half of the comic. Oh, well. Right now, I'm doing "The Night Stalker" for Moonstone, and have a new book, "The Old Rindge House," coming through Amazon. You can download pdfs of the "Gore Shriek" stuff through my website, www.EricStanway.com.

  7. I was in high school in the 80's - had to make a cover for my art portfolio - I got in tons of crap for using the cover of Gore Shriek #4 (girl eating the doll). These comics and their ilk (like Deadworld) were amazing.

Thank you for preserving these treasures. My son will now be enjoying them too.

Allen Koszowski's art should also be mentioned. His two covers on Gore Shriek comic were inredible. This man should get the recognition that he deserves. I wish that he was used on more covers
