A Murder of Angels is a side project of Bryin Dall and Derek Rush. Bryin is known for his work with Loretta's Doll, his solo project Fourth Sign of the Apocalypse and, also Thee Majesty, with Genesis P-Orridge. He sometimes contributes to Derek's main project, Dream into Dust. The two have previously collaborated together under the name Of Unknown Origin.
Middle Pillar, their record company states that "While You Sleep evokes a universe of disturbing worlds. The duo have created a sound that faintly evokes the low-key moments of their other work, yet succeeds in creating an entirely new atmosphere. Listening to While You Sleep is similar to slipping off into a peaceful slumber that sucks you in like quicksand before it slowly melts into the more disturbing territories of your psyche." I couldn't agree more. This album is one of my long time favorites, although i must admit my opinion is quite a subjective one (since this is one of the first albums of this kind i found, long way back). This album walks around many genres of music and soundscape; just for a general image though, I see this somewhere in the dark ambient atmosphere (but that's a very diverse category, nevertheless).

I believe the rest of us are primarily focusing on soundtracks from horror films, so its nice to see some diversity here. Do you happen to be using an html editor to create your posts? I noticed some strange stuff going on with your code, and the download link appeared in an unusual location. I'll send something your way which should help you out.

ReplyDeleteI don't think i really manage that well to work directly through html, i just use the default post editor (although i take a look sometimes at the html editor...). i'll make sure to go through the files you will send, thanks!
@Sab: Oh it's nothing complex. Just a short tutorial I put together which explains some of the custom html code I use on the blog. Since you aren't familiar with html code I don't want you to feel obligated to use it. If you would rather stick with the editor that is fine by me. Although I think learning how to code the html actually makes the entire posting process much easier in my opinion It's fairly easy to learn also. The tutorial is already posted on the blog, so I'll just send the address to it your way.
