Welcome

elcome to the Digital Meltd0wn Music Blog. The aim of this blog is to introduce the readers to music that is out of print, commercially unavailable, released under a creative commons license, or with approval by the featured artist. The majority of the music posted here would be considered underground. Don't let that fool you into thinking that the music featured here might be any less enjoyable than that of the mainstream artists you hear on the radio, as this couldn't be further from the truth. Please keep in mind that the majority of the artists that appear on this blog, along with their respective record labels, are not wealthy and need your support. If you enjoy the material that you find here, please support the artists/labels by purchasing their material afterwards. If you are an artist/label that would prefer to have your material removed from this blog, simply leave me a comment, and I would be more than happy to promptly remove the offending post. In addition to running this blog, I also work on a few other projects during my spare time. You can find links to those, as well as a few other important links associated with Digital Meltd0wn in the menu bar above.

100 Masterpieces - The Top 100 of Classical Music - Volumes 1-10

I thought it was about time that I offered up some classical music for a change here. This 10 disc set features 100 of the greatest classical songs in Western Classical Music. I was worried that this classical collection wouldn't be well recieved. I suppose I was wrong...

I'm happy that you all are enjoying this collection. I should have the remaining volumes up before the end of the night.

Thank you so much!!
Classical is the only genre I don't feel I know much about - and this is a GREAT collection for "beginners".

Bravo! Thanks for a superb collection. Unfortunately, it appears that Volume 7 is incomplete. Only seven of the 10 music files unpacked (same result for two download attempts).

CylonDetector2000:
I'll check on Volume 7. I probably either made a mistake when placing the files in the .rar archive, or I'm missing a few files and didn't notice. It doesn't sound as if it's a problem on your end though. I might not be home for a couple of days, so if you see this before I get a chance to respond, please acknowledge my comment so that I know you'll be coming back. Thanks for pointing out the problem though.

Could you please repost it? Thank you very much for your unvaluable work.
