elcome to the Digital Meltd0wn Music Blog. The aim of this blog is to introduce the readers to music that is out of print, commercially unavailable, released under a creative commons license, or with approval by the featured artist. The majority of the music posted here would be considered underground. Don't let that fool you into thinking that the music featured here might be any less enjoyable than that of the mainstream artists you hear on the radio, as this couldn't be further from the truth. Please keep in mind that the majority of the artists that appear on this blog, along with their respective record labels, are not wealthy and need your support. If you enjoy the material that you find here, please support the artists/labels by purchasing their material afterwards. If you are an artist/label that would prefer to have your material removed from this blog, simply leave me a comment, and I would be more than happy to promptly remove the offending post. In addition to running this blog, I also work on a few other projects during my spare time. New Commenting System Enabled


I have enabled a new commenting system utilizing both CommentLuv and JS-Kit. CommentLuv is great, as you will see once it is in full swing. Once a user leaves a comment, it will show a link under the user's comment to the latest post made by that person. There are also several options that aren't available in blogger's default commenting system, such as the ability to backtrack comments, reply to other user's comments, e-mail notification upon response (optional), emoticons, a private messaging system, personal profiles, and more. The only downside to this is that you will have to sign up for either an Open ID or JS-Kit account in order to fully access these features. Of course the option to post anonymous, or manually enter your name still exists. I plan to make a few minor modifications to the script so that it blends in better with the rest of the blog. Please let me know what you think of the new commenting system. I hope that you all enjoy it. If you all are unhappy with it, please let me know, as I can always revert back to the default blogger commenting system.
