Welcome

elcome to the Digital Meltd0wn Music Blog. The aim of this blog is to introduce the readers to music that is out of print, commercially unavailable, released under a creative commons license, or with approval by the featured artist. The majority of the music posted here would be considered underground. Don't let that fool you into thinking that the music featured here might be any less enjoyable than that of the mainstream artists you hear on the radio, as this couldn't be further from the truth.
Please keep in mind that the majority of the artists that appear on this blog, along with their respective record labels, are not wealthy and need your support. If you enjoy the material that you find here, please support the artists/labels by purchasing their material afterwards. If you are an artist/label that would prefer to have your material removed from this blog, simply leave me a comment, and I would be more than happy to promptly remove the offending post.
In addition to running this blog, I also work on a few other projects during my spare time. You can find links to those, as well as a few other important links associated with Digital Meltd0wn in the menu bar above.

Jail...
I may or may not be going to jail this weekend. I just wanted to let you all know in case you don't see any updates from me in a while. Hopefully I'll be able to resolve the situation quickly. I don't expect to be in for more than a couple of days, but in the unlikely even that I'm not, just keep an eye out for my return. In the meantime, please leave a comment and recommend some music for me to check out whenever I get out.

Shit dude... hope it works out for you.
:(
Yikes... Tonio K wrote a song about the end of the world that begins in The Nottingham Jail. It's from his "Life In The Food Chain" LP. Defintely worth checking out. Hopefully from your home -- this weekend. Good luck.
Good luck man..I have been in a similar situation before and I do not envy you. I wish you the best!
arg... sorry to hear that...
Sheeeeet. Curious to hear the story but certainly hope everything is ok.
ooo man... I wish everything will be okey with you. Hope it will get a good end.
Hi,
Let me start by saying, great blog!
I play in a band from Toronto, Canada called THE ARTIST LIFE and we’re on a mission to give away our new EP “LIVING” to as many people as possible! We decided that the best way to get our music out to the public was to offer it for free download from our website and so far have had over 5000 downloads!
If you would like to check it out and host it on your site we would be 100% ok with that. In fact it would help us a great deal!
Go to http://www.theartistlife.com to download a ZIP file which contains:
- 8 cd quality songs
- printable album artwork
- lyrics
- press photo of the band
Please feel free to forward our record to any other album download blogs that you know as well!
Thanks in advance for you help!
The Artist Life
Well --- maybe The Artist Life should go to jail for being a bit insensitive, huh? Hope it all works out OK. Jails are already overcrowded. Check out Talk Talk "Wealth" on Spirit of Eden for a signpost to peace.
bummer! hope things turn out ok, sooner, not later.
"Clang, clang go the jail guitar doors"
Man, i hope you don't go to jail. Just came across this blog yesterday while looking for German Oak. This is by far the best music blog i've ever seen, as far as the articles, organization & layout, rarity of music, and upload sites. I found so many things i didn't even know i wanted. If you ever are looking for something, i'd be more than happy to help out. Thanks and good luck staying out of jail!
I would like to thank all of you for the kind words and support. Whenever I go to court I plan to ask for a court appointed lawyer. They will most likely reset my court date once I do this. Even if do go to jail, I don't think it would be for more than two weeks, but then again I could be wrong.
btw.. I removed any comments that I considered offensive or insensitive. Be respectful of my situation, or don't bother responding. I may even disable anonymous comments. Remember, there is actually a real life human being reading these comments. I don't think that is too difficult of a concept to understand.
