elcome to the Digital Meltd0wn Music Blog. The aim of this blog is to introduce the readers to music that is out of print, commercially unavailable, released under a creative commons license, or with approval by the featured artist. The majority of the music posted here would be considered underground. Don't let that fool you into thinking that the music featured here might be any less enjoyable than that of the mainstream artists you hear on the radio, as this couldn't be further from the truth. Please keep in mind that the majority of the artists that appear on this blog, along with their respective record labels, are not wealthy and need your support. If you enjoy the material that you find here, please support the artists/labels by purchasing their material afterwards. If you are an artist/label that would prefer to have your material removed from this blog, simply leave me a comment, and I would be more than happy to promptly remove the offending post. In addition to running this blog, I also work on a few other projects during my spare time. You can find links to those, as well as a few other important links associated with Digital Meltd0wn in the menu bar above.

Old School Hardcore & Punk

Oh, you said PUNK...I thought you said FUNK. Here's another entry under the letter O...as in Old School.

This is a set of bootleg cds I got from my friend Fudgie D. back around the turn of the century. It’s just a crazy compilation of a bunch of hardcore & punk bands (hence the name) from around the world. These two cds comprise Volume I. There were supposed to be further volumes, but I’ve never seen them??? If you’re into punk at all, there has to be a few favorites here, maybe some tunes you haven’t heard for a while or kinda forgot, or some stuff that maybe you never heard before at all. The Ojorojo post had me digging through my punk musick & when I saw this, I just had to upload it. It was always good for slamming into the player & jumping around to while I was doing things around the crib. The first cd is Bands A - M, the second N - Z.

I haven't heard of most of these bands, which I consider to be a good thing. It's been far too long since I've even listened to any punk rock. I'll be sure to give this a listen.

Whats with Brody Dalle and all the lazy anarchy symbols?

Sorry, Mr. Art Critic.
I didn't make the cover, I just copied the xeroxed sheet that was on the cds my friend gave me. Don't know if he made it or if it came with the discs...it's a friggin' bootleg, dude.
I rustled up a different cover.
Don't like it, you make one then.

Okay okay.

Hey Son !

To Private somewhere,
Merci pour le lien. Je téléchargerai ce & écoutez lui dès que je pourrai. Je vous ferai savoir dans les commentaires ici ce que je pense cela. Merci encore.

Ah man, the download-link's broken. Any chance of reuploading?

Thanks for letting me know about the dead links. I re-upped the files again. Let me know. Thanks & enjoy!

Thanks alot for the effort.
But such a shame; the files have "either been deleted or are unavailable to you", it reads on the box-page.

Oh well...

to Jimmy,
Thanks for recommenting. That's why I always ask, but few ever do. I put the wrong links when I re-did the post. They should be corre4cted now. Once again, hope it works & let me know.

Liens morts hélas ;\

Merci pour le commentaire et le "heads-up" sur les liens morts. Les deux sont re-uploaded maintenant. Prendre plaisir.

For the rest of you...re-upped again.
